Frequently Asked Questions
What Makes Well Family Chiropractic Different?
At Well Family Chiropractic, we are uniquely focused on providing pediatrics, pregnancy, and family care. We have a special interest in improving the lives of children through safe, gentle chiropractic care, and in helping moms have a healthy and comfortable pregnancy. Through our compassionate and personalized chiropractic care, we aim to educate, empower, and adjust families toward a life of natural, holistic health and well-being.
Unlike many chiropractic offices, we take a whole-body approach by addressing the nervous system rather than just focusing on the musculoskeletal system. Using advanced tools like CLA nervous system scans, we gain a deep understanding of what’s happening in your body so we never have to guess about your health.
Our customized care plans never take a one-size-fits-all approach, and our continuous training, education, and community events make us stand out in our community. We also offer convenient online appointment scheduling, texting, and in-office amenities such as a playroom, nursing room, and changing room.
At Well Family Chiropractic, you’ll find compassionate care that truly prioritizes your family’s health.
Are chiropractic adjustments safe for babies and children?
Many parents are concerned that chiropractic adjustments will be too forceful for their infant or child. They mistakenly think that their child will receive adjustments like ones they receive. Not only are adjusting techniques modified for each person’s size and unique problem, an infant’s spine rarely has the long-standing muscle tightness seen in adults. Knowing exactly where to adjust, newborns and infants are adjusted with no more pressure than you’d use to test the ripeness of a tomato. Many parents have commented that they see almost instant improvements in the well-being of their child.
Why would a baby or child need to see a pediatric chiropractor?
Birth is a significant event, and sometimes, it can cause stress or trauma to a baby’s delicate nervous system. Factors like a traumatic delivery, a very long or short labor, a cesarean delivery, or the use of interventions like Pitocin, forceps, and vacuum extraction can create tension or misalignments in a baby’s spine. Even natural births can leave babies with stress that impacts their ability to breastfeed, sleep, or be soothed. Signs of spinal nerve stress in infants can include colic, reflux, constipation, or sleeping issues.
Parents are often told their baby will outgrow these symptoms, but from a neurological chiropractic perspective, we’ve seen that these early issues can sometimes develop into other challenges. For example, if left unaddressed, this stress may contribute to challenges later in childhood, such as chronic ear infections, allergies, sensory processing issues, anxiety, or ADHD.
Gentle chiropractic adjustments support optimal development and resilience, allowing your child’s nervous system to thrive and body to heal naturally. We focus on supporting their growing bodies and nervous systems to help them feel and function at their best. Why should I go to a chiropractor during pregnancy?
Many people seek out a chiropractor during pregnancy for relief from back pain, sciatica, or round ligament discomfort. While we can certainly help with those symptoms, our pregnancy chiropractic care also focuses on preparing your body for the best possible birth experience. Our goal is to support your body’s natural process throughout your pregnancy – preparing your body for labor, supporting a safe birth for both mom and baby, and soothing pregnancy symptoms such as joint pain, discomfort, and even nausea.
A key part of our approach is the Webster Technique, a gentle and specialized method designed to address pelvic and ligament imbalances during pregnancy. By restoring alignment and reducing tension on the uterus, this technique creates more space for your baby to move and grow while also preparing your body for a smoother labor and delivery. Research shows that prenatal chiropractic care can contribute to a shorter, less stressful birth with fewer interventions, helping both mom and baby have a positive experience. Can I come in for a one-time, walk-in appointment?
We don’t adjust new members on their first visit because it’s important for us to understand your body, your story, and your unique needs first.
Our care is designed to work within customized plans created for each individual. A new patient exam is $180, and our care plans are structured for ongoing support with monthly memberships or packages. Individual adjustments after the initial exam are $60.
How many adjustments will I (or my child) need?
Every person is different, so the number of adjustments you or your child may need depends on your unique situation and goals. The advanced scans we perform during your evaluation help us create a personalized care plan with a recommended number of visits. We’ll also include regular check-ins to monitor your progress and adjust our recommendations as needed to ensure your care evolves with you.
How soon will I see results?
Every person’s body responds differently to care. Our doctors have seen near-miracles after a single adjustment, while others take more time to heal and see changes. The pace of results depends on how your body and mind respond to treatment, but we usually notice some improvements early on.
How much will this cost me?
We strive to keep our services affordable for families because we believe your health is the most worthwhile investment you can make. For new patients, the cost is $180 for a comprehensive initial exam, including all scans. Regular adjustments are $60 each.
To make ongoing care even more accessible, we offer reduced pricing through wellness memberships and care packages tailored to your needs. Our pricing reflects the time, energy, and advanced technology we dedicate to creating a supportive, healing environment that’s personalized for every member of your family.

Do you accept my insurance?
We often hear this question, and we completely understand why you are asking! We do not accept insurance for several important reasons. First, insurance companies often try to control your care—deciding what’s covered and how much care you can receive—without truly understanding your family’s unique needs. By working directly with you, we can provide the personalized care your family deserves without third-party limitations. This also lets us keep our prices straightforward and affordable, often similar to or even less than a standard co-pay.
At Well Family Chiropractic, we work for YOU and your family—not an insurance company. We offer various wellness and family savings plans and welcome the use of HSA and FSA funds, which are great options for covering wellness and preventative services. We can also provide you with documentation to submit to your insurance plan for reimbursement. If you have any questions, let’s chat—we want this to work for you and your family!
Do you accept my health savings account (HSA) or flexible spending account (FSA)?
Yes! We encourage the use of HSAs and FSAs because they are set up to provide preventative and wellness services. We will provide you with the receipts and documentation for these accounts.
Who will be performing my adjustments?
In our office, we practice co-care, meaning you’ll have the opportunity to be adjusted by all of our amazing chiropractors. This approach ensures you receive the best possible care since multiple perspectives often catch things that a single set of eyes might miss. With a team of skilled chiropractors working together, we can provide the most thorough and effective care for you and your family.
