What to Expect at Well Family Chiropractic
Your First Visit
When you arrive at the office a member of our team will greet you and will go over your paperwork with you. We ask that you please arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment time if you haven’t filled your paperwork out prior to your visit. This allows Dr. Lauren more time to get to know you or your child’s history in detail. Next, we’ll take you on a brief tour of our office to help familiarize you with where things are and what we do.
Your first visit will consist of two parts: a detailed consultation, and an exam utilizing state of the art Insight technology and digital x rays if necessary. During the consult we will discuss your health history, challenges, concerns, and goals for you or your child. Dr. Lauren is very thorough because she knows the more we know about you and your goals, the more we can help!
Once we have gotten to know more about you and/or your child we will explain how chiropractic care works and what to expect going forward. Next we will perform a physical exam starting with the Insight nerve scan. The focus of the exam is to see how your nervous system is functioning and where the areas of stress and challenge are in your body. This whole process will take approximately 45 minutes to one hour.
Day Two
Your second visit is called your Report of Findings, it’s at this visit that we will answer your most important questions:
- What did you find?
- How severe is it?
- What is my suggested care plan?
- How much will my care cost?
Dr. Lauren will explain your scan results in detail and will relate them to what was discussed at your first appointment. She will also go over your x rays at this time if they were taken. We will explain your personalized care recommendations and continue to perform Insight scans on a specific schedule to continue to monitor your progress and changes in state of health. You will then receive your first adjustment!
Your Continuing Care
On a typical visit, you will greeted by a member of our team at the front desk. You will be checked in and then you can take a seat in our waiting area or you and your kids can play in our play area. Following a short wait, you will get adjusted and then be on your way. Allow 10-15 minutes for a regular visit.

From a diaper changing station and nursing chair, to a designated kids play area and comfortable waiting room, we designed Well Family Chiropractic with you and your family’s comfort in mind.
